A Year of Promoting The People Who Make the Things I Love: Jan 12–Perseus Arkomanis

In 2022, I am going to spend some time on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays promoting someone who makes the things I love. I started this series because I believe that we, myself included, spend so much time on social media dunking on people (however deserved) and not enough time lifting up people deserving of positive attention.

Today I’m writing about the magician Perseus Arkomanis.

In the first installment of this series, I talked about Bran Crow, who was my entryway into the online magic community. From that first discord server, I met Perseus, and I’m very glad I did.

Perseus is an amazing magician, but he is also someone who is very giving of his time and expertise to help other people. There have been numerous times when I was working on something, and he jumped on a video call to help me.

He’s very respected personally, but he’s also recently launched his own magic company Orion Magic Production. Their products are already receiving rave reviews. You can see more at their site linked above or their Instagram page.
